I was very encouraged to read the solution focused ideas and resolutions that came out of the two workshop documents. Especially around the strengthening of collaberation between ITO's/ PTE's/Seconday and Business. An important point that I noted which relates to my own work is the need to identify the right training and career opportunities for individuals, this is needed as part of the train once train right approach and to ensure retention on both the training program and in the workplace. Career Planning for individuals and groups as a pre cursor to training and development, either in the workplace or before taking on tertiary studies is an essential part of ensuring the sucess for many of the training /Skills/education initatives that came out of these documents.
