The 2007 ABN AMRO Craigs Wanganui Business Awards ceremony, held last evening was a glittering affair, with Quality Safety announced as the ABN AMRO Craigs Supreme Business of the Year for 2007.
Quality Safety is a family owned and operated business that is not only going through succession between generations but also relocation across the globe.
They have blended private and public sector clients, domestic and international. They have also mixed large volume manufacturing with ultra small-run niche market provision.
Quality Safety manufacture a wide range of medical, manufacturing and service industry safety products. They have captured major government contracts for the production and storage of consumable health safety products. Their processes of manufacture are being moved from their home location in South Africa to Wanganui while maintaining the continual supply of products to international markets.
Quality Safety presents a complete manufacturing base, innovation, growth and provision and enthusiasm for the task at hand, and also took the Horsley Christie Primary Industry, Manufacturing & Exporting Excellence Award.
